A product of a Christian home, Brother Tony
accepted Jesus and was born again at an early
age. Although born again and on his way to Heaven,
he did not experience the joy and victory that
God intended for all believers in this life for
almost ten years. After graduation from high
school, an unquenchable hunger for God began to grow
inside of him. He knew that what the world and man-
made religion was offering was a weak substitute for the real
                                  thing.
While in college at the age of 19, Tony curiously listened to a
borrowed set of tapes on “Faith” by Kenneth Copeland. He had
never heard the Word of God presented in such a
bold and uncompromised fashion. The Word of faith and the spirit of
faith presented on these tapes lit a fire within Tony, and whet his
                                  appetite for more of God.

The following months proved to be a life-changing time for Tony. The
hunger for God’s Word continued to increase. He had truly tasted and
seen that the Lord was good. He would spend hours reading and
studying the Word. In addition, Tony received the baptism, or infilling,
of                                       the Holy Spirit during this time. The revelation and understanding of
the
Word began to abound. He also accepted the call to the ministry that
had been inside of him all of his life.

In preparation for the call to the ministry, Brother Tony attended Rhema Bible Training
Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma (Kenneth Hagin Ministries). During his second year of
studies at Rhema, he met his wife-to-be, Denise. Tony graduated from Rhema in 1985. Two
months later, he and Denise were married.

Now, over 24 years of ministry, 24 years
of happy marriage, and four children later,
Brother Tony is still pressing towards
the mark of the upward call in Christ Jesus.
He has held his ministerial credentials with
Rhema Ministerial Association International
since 1990. Of the 20 plus years of experience
in the ministry, over 15 of those have been
in the pastoral ministry. Tony and Denise
minister side-by-side through teaching,
preaching and music. In addition to the ministry
at Joy of Faith, he has also recently established his own personal ministry.

Brother Tony is called and anointed to minister the Word of God, with a special emphasis
in such areas as: our identification with Christ, faith, healing, wisdom, how to prosper God's
way, walking in love, the Holy Spirit, our covenant with God, prayer and the principles of
the Kingdom of God. The same message that set him free over 25 years ago and put him on
the road to personal victory in life, is still just as real and alive within him today. Allow the
message and the anointing of God to set you free today through the ministries of Joy of Faith
Christian Center and Tony Cowan Ministries. We believe that you will never be the same again.
